JOTA/JOTI FCC Amateur radio Exam

Manila Council Amateur Radio Club will have an exam for those wanting to take the FCC amateur radio exam. 

Exam: Time: 10am
Date: October 21
Location: Rafael Palma Elementary School ​Zobel Roxas Street.

The test is free but the license cost 35 dollars and is valid for 10 years 

We have sponsors to pay for the first 10 scouts who pass  the license exam. 

Requirements are: 

1. Have a valid government ID (this is easy as every has that)

2. Have an address Able to receive mail in the USA (this is easy as most people have relatives or friends in the USA or they can simply use my address)

3. Pass the written exam (35 questions for technician (equivalent to class c), 35 questions for general (equivalent to class b), 50 questions for extra (equivalent to class a) 

It’s 100% free for the first 10 scouts

Once the scout is licensed, they qualify to apply for scholarships for school (yes Filipinos qualify).
